In-Sync offers the following Assessment Packages, which includes assessments by Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Special Education Specialists. The Assessment Packages incorporate an hour-long feedback session, by a Clinical Psychologist, to the parents or carers of the assessed child regarding the findings of assessment and a full report summarising the assessment.
The School Readiness Assessment Package involves the use of multiple, across-discipline and globally standardised assessment tools whereby the school readiness of the child is gauged on both adaptive and academic level. It takes one week for the assessment to be completed and a comprehensive report is submitted to the parent one week after completion of the assessment. Should the assessment indicate that the child would benefit from therapeutic interventions, these interventions should be started as soon as possible to allow the optimum benefit to the child’s development.
The Intervention Assessment Package focuses on establishing what specific needs a child might present with, and at what level, should a child already be diagnosed regarding a special need. This package is also useful should a parent or caregiver suspect that a child may need therapeutic input. It takes one week for the assessment to be completed and a comprehensive report is submitted to the parent one week after completion of the assessment. Should the assessment indicate that the child would benefit from therapeutic interventions, these interventions should be started as soon as possible to allow the optimum benefit to the child’s development.
The Diagnostic Assessment Package focuses on the diagnosis of specific Neurodevelopmental / Pervasive Developmental Disorders and uses globally standardized assessment tools to confirm the observational diagnosis. The assessments are conducted by specialist Clinical Psychologists. The following assessments are offered:

Diagnostic Assessment
In-Sync offers Specialist Assessment Packages and Interventions. If a child is referred to In-Sync for a specific intervention, i.e., an assessment by a Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Behaviour Management Specialist or Special Education Specialist, such specialised assessments are available upon request.
